RCB only focused on batsmen from the beginning, and also RCB was more dependent on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers form. This is the reason for RCB not to win any IPL titles. Although RCB has huge red army fan who come to support them in every match.

But in this season, RCB is a well-settled team after getting some players through IPL auction 2019. Markus Stoinis, Umesh Yadav, Nathan Coulter Nile, and Tim Southee will give their contribution by the ball. Mumbai Indians are one of the most successful franchises of Indian Premier League. Like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians also win three times IPL trophy. Mumbai Indians are the richest franchise of IPL because of its CEO Nita Ambani (Reliance Industries) and featured by many support staff like Sachin Tendulkar as an icon of MI, Robin Singh as Batting coach, Shane Bond as bowling coach.

Captain of Mumbai Indians is The hitman Rohit Sharma and coach of this team is Mahela Jayawardene. As the strongest team in IPL, They want to hold the 2019 IPL trophy. In IPL auction, Mumbai Indians spent only Rs 7.60 crore because they retained most of their stars. They bought Lasith Malinga and Yuvraj Singh, which is not in form and also bought some youngster cricketer.

But although they have a terrific player who changes the match in a while. They have number one hitter Rohit Sharma and number one bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Total Strength: 24

4. Kings XI Punjab

The journey of Kings XI Punjab is not well in most of the IPL season. They have been able to reach just two times in IPL qualifier. Previous Season of IPL was a disappointing season for Punjab, their ranking was 7/8. Because the most of their players were not in good form only KL Rahul was looking good throughout the season and manage to score 659 in 14 innings with a strike rate of 146 (highest run scorer) and in bowling department Andrew Tye was the highest wicket taking bowler in previous season, He had succeeded to dismiss 24 batsmen with a Strike Rate of 14.00. But no one succeeded to contribute expect them that’s the reason for the failure of Punjab.

In 2019 IPL auction they bought 13 players and most of them are debuting so, it would be wrong to say how Punjab would play. Sam Curran, Mohammed Shami, and Nicolas Pooran are the famous bought of Kings XI Punjab and they have the potential to change the match any time. Ashwin’s captaincy was not good in last season, hence the captaincy can be stripped off from Ashwin in IPL 2019. Rahul and Gayle is the biggest contenders for captaincy. 5. Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals won the first edition of IPL in 2008 by defeating Chennai Super Kings won by 3 wickets in captaincy of Shane Warne. The entire journey of Rajasthan has been up and down, they managed to qualify in qualifier four times and won the titles one time. In 2015 Rajasthan Royals was banned for 2 years by Supreme Court of India as their players Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila were involved in match-fixing along with Chennai Super Kings.

In the previous season of IPL Royals performed well and able to take a place in the qualifier without Steve Smith. Steve Smith was banned for a year due to ball tampering incident against South Africa and his ban is ending this year. Royals will perform very well in the presence of Steve Smith. We also aware the form of Jos Buttler in last season, he smashed 5 consecutive fifties and scored 548 runs in just 13 innings with an average of 54.80. Jaydev Unadkat once again the expensive player of IPL 2019.

Once again they have trusted in the fast bowler and bought two more fast bowlers, Varun Aron, and Shane Thomas. They have also two spinners in their squad. If Joss Buttler will retain his form then Rajasthan Royals surely win. The captain of Royals will be Steve Smith and coached by Paddy Upton. Their home ground is Swai Mansingh Stadium.

Retained Players:

  • Steve Smith
  • Ajinkya Rahane
  • Krishnappa Gowtham
  • Sanju Samson
  • Shreyas Gopal
  • Aryaman Birla
  • S Mithun
  • Prashant Chopra
  • Stuart Binny
  • Rahul Tripathy
  • Ben Stokes
  • Jos Buttler
  • Jofra Archer
  • Ish Sodhi
  • Dhawal Kulkarni
  • Mahipal Lomror

Bought (9):

  • Jaydev Unadkat (Rs 8.4 crore),
  • Varun Aron (Rs 2.4 crore),
  • Shane Thomas (Rs 1.1 crore),
  • Ashton Turner (Rs 50 lakh),
  • Liam Livingstone (Rs 50 lakh)
  • , Shashank Singh (Rs 20 lakh),
  • Riyan Parag (Rs 20 lakh),
  • Manan Vohra (Rs 20 lakh),
  • Shubham Ranjane (Rs 20 lakh).

6. Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals is one of the IPL franchise which represents Delhi. The Delhi Capitals has changed the name in 2018 earlier they were known by the name Delhi Daredevils. Till now Delhi’s entire journey has been worst. You will be wonder Delhi never qualify for final in entire IPL season. They are only successful in reaching the playoff only 2 times and rest ended with sixth, seventh and last position. Delhi’s middle order and finisher are always a big reason for failure. But they did well in IPL auction by buying Colin Ingram, he will surely solve Capitals problem of middle order with Risabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer.

Although their Finisher spot even now not fill by Hanuma Vihari. Looking at their bowling department, Rabada, Ishant, Boult, Axar and Sandeep Lamichhane will lead this department. There is not an update on who will be captain of Delhi Captain but chances of Shreyas Iyer is high for the Captain, Shikhar Dhawan. In my view, capitals are not so good for winning the trophy. Coach of Delhi Capitals is Ricky Ponting and Mohammad Kaif is the assistant coach. Sourav Ganguly, as the new advisor for the Capitals. Their home grounds are Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in New Delhi and Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

Retained Players:

  • Shreyas Iyer,
  • Rishabh Pant,
  • Prithvi Shaw,
  • Amit Mishra,
  • Avesh Khan,
  • Harshal Patel,
  • Rahul Tewatiya,
  • Jayant Yadav,
  • Manoj Kalra, Colin
    Munro, Chris Morris,
  • Kagiso Rabada,
  • Sandeep Lamichhane,
  • Trent Boult

  • Shikhar Dhawan from Sunrisers Hyderabad for Abhishek Sharma, Vijay Shankar, and Shahbaz Nadeem.

Bought (10):

  • Colin Ingram (Rs 6.40 crore),
  • Axar Patel (Rs 5 crore),
  • Hanuma Vihari (Rs 2 crore),
  • Sherfane Rutherford (Rs 2 crore),
  • Ishant Sharma (Rs 1.10 crore),
  • Keemo Paul (50 lakh),
  • Ankush Bains (Rs 20 lakh),
  • Jalaj Saxena (Rs 20 lakh),
  • Bandaru Ayyapa (Rs 20 lakh).

7. Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders are one of the successful franchise of IPL and win two times IPL trophy under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir. In last season, all predicted that Riders will not qualify for the knock out round but they stunned them and finished on rank 3 in the captaincy of Dinesh Karthik.

Also, Riders have huge numbers of fans and come in every match to support their team with a slogan of Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo. Knight Rider’s batting line up is one of the best line up in IPL. The top order of Riders like Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa, and Shubman Gil is capable to give the explosive start. Sunil Narine is a most valuable player for Riders, he has contributed with both and bat many times by making runs with tremendous strike rate. Apart from this, they have a monster all allrounder Andre Russell, who will finish the match throughout the moment.

In the bowling section, they have Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Narine, Piyush Chawla and many more. Their bowling department is little weak because of injury of U19 World Cup stars Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi. Although Kolkata Knight Riders are looking good and do well in upcoming IPL. Dinesh Karthik is the captain and Jacques Kallis is the coach of this team. Rider’s home ground is Eden Garden in Kolkata city.

Retained Players:

  • Dinesh Karthik
  • Robin Uthappa
  • Chris Lynn
  • Andre Russell
  • Sunil Narine
  • Shubman Gil
  • Piyush Chawla
  • Kuldeep Yadav
  • Prasidh Krishna
  • Shivam Mavi
  • Nitish Rana
  • Rinku Singh
  • Kamlesh Nagarkot

Bought (8):

  • Carlos Brathwaite (Rs 5 crore)
  • Lockie Ferguson (Rs 1.60 crore)
  • Joe Denly (RS 1 crore)
  • Harry Gurney (Rs 75 lakh)
  • Anrich Nortje (Rs 20 lakh)
  • Nikhil Naik (Rs 20 lakh)
  • Yarra Prithviraj (Rs 20 lakh)
  • Shrikant Mundhe (Rs 20 lakh)

8. Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the teams of IPL which made debut in 2013 season after replacing Decan Chargers. The entire season of Hyderabad has gone very well. They qualified for the playoff in their inaugural season. Hyderabad won their maiden IPL title in 2016 season under the captaincy of David Warner.

In last season, David Warner was banned because of ball tampering incident. However, they were successful in reaching the playoff under the brilliant captaincy of Kane Williamson and lost by Chennai Super Kings. One good news for Sunrisers’s fans are David Warner is returning this season. They just bought only 3 and released Shikhar Dhawan to Delhi Capitals and took Abhishek Sharma (in finishing role), Vijay Shankar (all-rounder), and

Shahbaz Nadeem (left-arm spinner) in exchange for him. For Dhawan place, they bought Martin Guptill who will open with David Warner. Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson will fill the place of the middle order. Looking at their bowling department, they have a very good bowler in both fast and spin department. Orange army will surely qualify for playoff and they have the capacity to take the title second times. Kane Williamson did a very good captaincy in last season but David Warner is all time favorite for captaincy, so Warner will the captain of Hyderabad and Tom Moody is the coach. Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is the home ground of Sunrisers.

Retained Players:

  • David Warner
  • Kane Williamson
  • Rashid Khan
  • Mohammad Nabi
  • Shakib Al Hasan

  • Siddarth Kaul

Bought (3):

  • Jonny Bairstow (Rs 2.2 crore)
  • Wriddhiman Saha (Rs 1.2 crore)
  • Martin Guptill (Rs 1 crore)
