Meizu Zero – Welcome to BuzzDise again and today I am talking about the fully futuristic phone that can blow your mind. Yes, the very well-known brand Meizu which going to launch a smartphone i.e. Meizu Zero which has no any buttons, no speaker grills, no sim slot neither charging port nor earphone jack. Now you are confused that without any button or port how does the phone works.
So in this blog, you will find all about Meizu zero phone like Meizu zero expected price, Meizu zero launched to date, Meizu zero specs etc. So stay tuned.
Recently a mobile company Meizu exposed its latest smartphone Meizu Zero in China without any buttons or even any ports. The Meizu Zero is very unique in the fact that it has a seamless design.
it comes without any physical buttons, ports or even a sim card tray or speaker grills. Instead using a sim card tray the device relies on ECM technology, instead of volume rockers and a power button we’ve got touch capacitive panels along with haptic feedback to recreate the feeling of a real button using their M Engine2 technology so this is similar to that we’ve seen on the Galaxies as well as the iPhone series.
There’s also no speaker grill at all. Instead, Meizu has equipped with transducers that vibrate parts of the phone display, free the loudspeaker or earpiece audio as there are no ports.
The Meizu Zero will also support Bluetooth5 along with wireless USB connectivity they’re claiming this can transfer as fast as the USB 3 standard. Personally, I’m not going to be believing this until actually, I see it and of course when it comes to charging you’ve got no charge port on the device but it does support wireless charging up to 18 watts because of all this seamless design. And the device is IP68 water-resistance which means it can be fully submerged up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes now for the display on the device that we’ve got a 5.99 inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 and we also get an in display fingerprint scanner. It does have a bezel on both the top and the bottom but I quite like the design as it nice and symmetrical inside the bezel. We get a 20MP front-facing selfie camera which supports face unlock and on the back we have a dual camera setup that’s 12MP and 20MP as you can see that’s stacked vertically the 12MP is a standard lens and the 20MP a telephoto.
It’s powered by the Snapdragon 845 so that is last year’s chipset but still a great system on chip nonetheless. Unfortunately, they haven’t given us any information on the RAM storage configurations. The phones going to available with either a glossy white or black panel on the back but they haven’t announced any detailed of pricing or availability yet. On other hands they reported that Vivo has a similar design in the works and now be announcing theirs if Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month will held but it is a very interesting concept I’d like to see new design in just anything different from the norm but the same time is there really any need to remove these ports, Many other manufacturers have achieved decent IP ratings while still retaining the ports and while wireless functionality is great it’s always nice to have an option.
Personally, I don’t think I’ll be considering purchasing this one but I’ll definitely still be keeping an eye on it so I’ll tell you more info as we receive it but as always I’d like to know thoughts down in the comment below.
Do you like this look of this phone and what do you think about the idea of removing all of these ports and buttons.
